Alpina Pro Skate Summer rollerski boots. Carbon fiber cuffs and heel counter with an anatomic footbed and Alpina PDP hard flex sole. Better stability and improved transfer of power. Come with half size volume reducers to slide under insole.

Width runs about average to a bit narrow. Run long, so many people need to order a size down.

Compatible with NNN, Prolink, and Turnamic skate bindings.

 Alpina size chart: https://www.alpinasports.com/us/nordic/rollerski/pro-sk-smv-53491

We measured the inside lengths (stuck tape measure inside boot with insole in) and got the following lengths:

  • 37 Euro/4 UK/4.5 US: 8 3/4"
  • 38 Euro/5 UK/5.5 US: 9"
  • 39 Euro/5.5 UK/6 US: 9 1/8"
  • 40 Euro/6.5 UK/7 US: 9 3/8"
  • 41 Euro/7.5 UK/8 US: 10"

  • 47 Euro/12 UK/12.5 US: 11 7/8"
  • 48 Euro/13 UK/13.5 US: 12"
  • 49 Euro/13.5UK/14 US: 12 3/8"
  • 50 Euro/14.5 UK/15 US: 12 3/4"

Generally for summer sock thickness and to ensure toes aren't rubbing on front, you want a boot that is your foot length plus ~1/2-5/8". You can measure your foot by backing it up against a wall barefoot and measure out.

    Rollerski Boots (Alpina Pro)

Posted by Mark Olson on Apr 30th 2024

I'm new to skate skiing (and roller skiing). That being said, I've been using these skis for 4 weeks 5-6 days a week. Construction quality is excellent, wear likely components look replaceable. All good. ... Just make sure small rocks don't get caught in the cleat paths on the heel.

    Alpina Pro Skate Rollerski Boots

Posted by Pantxo in Miami on Jan 23rd 2023

I've been rollerskiing on the Alpina Pro Skate Rollerski boots for a month and I am very happy with them. Alpina uses enough material to make them solid but not too much to make them clunky. These boots offer an athletic fit for a regular width to narrow foot, that is fast enough for racing and sturdy enough for hard training miles. The carbon fiber ankle cuff is very light and very stiff and gives the rskier lots of ankle support for efficient leg extension and balance while gliding on one rski. The characteristic that is most noticeable is how well these boots track on the pavement after pushing with the poles. It's just a well designed boot, very well constructed with quality materials and the lacing system locks it all in place. Alpina's sizing chart is not accurate so I recommend that if you get these boots, you go with the measurements given to each size by this site. I always use size 44EU (10US) in all shoes but with the Alpina Pro Skate I had to go with a size 42EU which is measured at 10 5/8 inches (my foot is 10 1/2 in) by Rollerskishop. com.
